<bud> is a set of cups which focuses on modern design of cultural diversity and coexistence. In Korea, when something develops or thrives, it is described as "flowering." Inspired by the sculpture elements of magnolia's flower buds, We produced the <bud> which is a multifunctional set of cups with the core value of “Various cultures mingle harmoniously and flowering”.
<bud>는 문화적 다양성과 공존을 담아낸 프로젝트이다. “다양한 문화들이 조화롭게 어울려 꽃을 피운다.”라는 슬로건을 바탕으로 목련 형태의 다기능 <bud> 잔 세트를 제작하였다. 마시기 위한 목적 외에도 잔(cup)은 각 나라마다 가지고 있는 고유의 문화를 살펴볼 수 있다. <bud>는 조선백자와 한옥의 전통적 이미지를 현대적인 디자인으로 재해석했다. 찻잔, 와인잔, 소반, 촛대 등 여러 가지 사용성을 제안함으로써 하나의 제품에서 다양한 문화를 경험하는 것에 목적을 두고 있다.

bud는 찻잔의 굽과 스탠드 내부모듈을 나선형 구조로 설계하여 분리・결합이 가능하다. 와인잔, 찻잔, 촛대, 플레이트 등 다양한 기능으로 사용할 수 있다.
